ALLIANCE ROULETTE: NICOLAS BESNAULT OUT
After a shocking Tribal Council, Nicolas Besnault, the 30-year-old airport worker from Nantes, France, was voted out with three votes showing. Nicolas left the game guilt-ridden, having been discovered by the host as having voted on behalf of Wendy with her game passwords for several rounds leading up to tonight's vote. But most of the players did not know that, and Nicolas was voted out anyway. Upon leaving Tribal Council, Nicolas remarked,"I'm shoked. Sad. Disappointed. Not because I'm voted out but mostly because people lied to me. People I loved alot who betrayed me without any pity . . . I'm just very disappointed that some people here dont know what honesty is. I thought that i found some friends ... I just woke up from my dream and realize that it was all a lie."
K.J. SNEAKS IN A WIN WHEN NO ONE WAS LOOKING
K.J. was completely shocked that she was the player with the most points in the Immunity Challenge "Cunning Linguist". Calling it the "hardest challenge yet", players had to decipher messages written in Morse Code, Braille, and even Binary! He victory was due to a lack of the other players not reading the challenge rules carefully enough and translating text into Binary when it was stated that Binary was to only be used for numbers. She wasn't too proud to accept a free pass, to the next round, and happily attended Tribal Council where she felt safer than she ever had in this game.
WENDY FORFEITS HER SPOT IN THE GAME
For the first time in Virtual Survivor 7: Pearl Islands, a player has left the game without being voted out. In fact, Wendy Wong was the least active player in the game and yet she received very few votes up until this point in the game. Most of the votes she had received were penalty votes at past Tribal Councils as a result of her non-participation. This round was the third time she failed to cast a vote at Tribal Council (probably more because Nicolas had been voting on her behalf with her passwords), and after repeated warnings was removed from the game -- AND the Jury. Earl Haines, who missed out on a Jury seat by one round, will take her place and will help choose a winner at the end of the game.
