LIES & DECEPTION: AUSTIN SUTHERLAND VOTED OUT
As VIRTUAL SURVIVOR 7: PEARL ISLANDS pushed forward, alliances held strong, innocent people were hurt and a most unbelievable lie was forged before Austin Sutherland, the 19-year-old student from New Castle, New Hampshire, was sent home by a unanimous vote. The last remaining ex-Drake Tribe member was sacrificed after revealing that he lied about his mother's health condition to get votes on his side at Tribal Council. Shortly after his torch was extinguished, Austin explained, "I am honored to be the last member of the Drake tribe and the only thing I will regret is not making it further than Wendy. I hope that anyone but Wendy or Jessie win this game."
NICOLAS DETHRONES JOHNNY
For three straight rounds, no one has been able to beat Johnny in an Immunity Challenge. But this time, Nicolas was able to nearly double Johnny's score, winning individual Immunity for the first time, leaving Johnny vulnerable at Tribal Council. Johnny was safe, however, and received no votes. The 6 remaining members of the original Morgan Tribe felt they had bigger fish to fry.
PULLING OUT ALL THE STOPS
Austin was honored to be the last remaining member of the original Drake Tribe and had been voting against his fellow "Drakians" since the merge, hoping to gain the favor of the Morgan alliance. He also lied about his mother's medial condition hoping to win some sympathy votes at Tribal Council. However, after hearing rumors about his impending ouster, Austin ranted to the Balboa Tribe and spilled the beans about his lie before all the votes were even cast. This move, it turned out, is what sealed his fate on night 41 at Tribal Council.
